Multiplayer Social Life Simulation Playable Prototype — Active Development

PHỐ CÓ HẸN

City of Encounters — Shared Life Simulation Across Real Cities

A social-life simulation inspired by the everyday experiences, stories, and cultures of real cities. The first world begins in Hanoi around Hoàn Kiếm Lake and the 36 Old Guild Streets, with a longer-term architectural vision of expanding to Paris and other international cities.

Shared Urban Spaces & Cultural Landmarks

Authentic urban architectural assets recreated in 3D WebGL for browser-based social presence and community storytelling.

Debut City: Hanoi Old Quarter

Development Status & Claim Verification

We strictly distinguish between active playable prototypes and long-term simulation goals.

VERIFIED: Implemented & Demonstrated

  • Interactive 3D Space: Playable WebGL room running on Spawn engine with 3D avatar navigation and camera control.
  • Hanoi Urban Geometry: Real-world cultural landmarks (Thê Húc Bridge, lakeside promenade, street architecture) modeled and textured.
  • Public Web Access: Accessible directly in browser without installation, client downloads, or specialized hardware.
  • Multiplayer Prototype: Verified live rooms capable of multi-user avatar synchronization over Spawn's runtime network.

PLANNED: Architecture Roadmap

  • Persistent Social Economy: Player inventory, customized apartments, and in-game café shops are design specifications, not yet deployed.
  • Scalable Room Management: Evaluating dedicated WebSocket server clusters (e.g. Node/Go on AWS ECS) for dynamic room partitioning.
  • Additional City Worlds: Paris and other international cities are long-term roadmap milestones, not completed virtual environments.
  • Full Metaverse Scope: We deliberately avoid marketing the project as a completed "commercial metaverse"; it is an actively evolving social simulation prototype.

Technical Infrastructure & Scaling Requirements

As Phố Có Hẹn transitions from single-room demonstrations toward scalable multiplayer social spaces, our architectural roadmap focuses on real-time networking and data persistence:

Real-Time Sync

Spatial interest management (AOI) to replicate position and chat messages only between avatars in nearby visual proximity.

Persistent World State

Managed database storage (e.g. PostgreSQL / DynamoDB) for avatar customization, friend graphs, community boards, and house customization.

Global CDN & Assets

Fast distribution of progressive 3D glTF/glb models, avatar clothing meshes, and audio ambience via edge CDN nodes.
